White Rock Creek Gabion Walls

White Rock Creek meanders significantly as it crosses under Walnut Hill Boulevard, an important six-lane urban thoroughfare in Dallas, Texas. The channel meanders created significant undermining of the bridge piers and required urgent permanent slope stabilization.

Metropolitan Infrastructure was retained to design gabion structures to stabilize the bank and protect the bridge abutments. Our plans included wall details, wall layouts, cost estimates, and specifications.
