Kingsgate Gabion Walls

Metropolitan Infrastructure was retained by the Kingsgate Homeowners Association to evaluate nine locations along Indian Creek in Plano, Texas. Indian Creek’s larger bends were significantly eroded, and these slope failures were encroaching into homeowners’ properties.

Metropolitan Infrastructure prepared permanent erosion control structure plans, which included gabion structures at various locations. As a design-build project, our scope of services included coordination with the contractor and homeowners, city permitting, wall cross-sections, wall plan and profiles, cost estimates, and specifications.
