DART LBJ Freeway Bridge
This project was completed through our CEO’s previous employment; however, additional tasks were completed through Metropolitan Infrastructure. The principle project challenge was to develop a comprehensive traffic control plan and a sequence of construction operations that TxDOT required in order to successfully demolish an existing railroad structure and construct a new double-track light rail line for Dallas Area Rapid Transit. This project required extensive coordination and communication with the signing, striping, demolition, erection, and other subcontractors, as well as coordination with DART, TxDOT, the City of Dallas, and the contractor.
The plans for this project included: typical roadway sections, traffic control signage plans, detour layouts, and construction quantities.
