The creek underneath the Eastchase Parkway Bridge was experience severe erosion, which threatened to undermine the bridge abutments and piers. Metropolitan Infrastructure was retained by a specialty contractor to evaluate various options for bank stabilization and prepare construction plans to resolve the erosion issue.

MI's scope of services included preparation of channel sections, soil-nail wall calculations, soil-nail wall plan and elevation designs, and construction phase coordination. Our team selected soil-nail walls to facilitate construction and to minimize disturbance to the floodway.
