Dams and Reservoirs

Dams create and protect the reservoirs that provide habitats for native wildlife. As a result, homeowners and community members enjoy the wildlife and the environment created by these structures. However, as harmful sediment and debris flow downstream and settle in the reservoir, they threaten the wildlife in this habitat and the aesthetics of the pond.
